The top of the Kremona Mari Ukulele is made of solid, carefully selected spruce and, in combination with the rosewood body, delivers a traditional tone, with a slightly brighter, more percussive note, but with the evenly wide frequency projection that one would expect from a high-quality instrument.
The VE version comes with a body made of real wood laminate, but with a solid top. This is mainly beneficial to the price, with no real compromise in sound.
