The solid mahogany body also offers a generous cutaway, so that even the high registers are literally within easy reach. This is all supported by the perfectly shaped mahogany neck and the Richlite fingerboard. The sound spectrum is extremely broad and balanced thanks to the combination of tonewoods.
Visually, the ST40 impresses with a high-gloss finish on the body and top. The elaborate inlays in the fingerboard and the adapted pickguard round off the design in a pleasant way.
The interior is also of high quality: the unique Godin Atelier Compound Tapered Bracing ensures optimized rigidity, resonance and structural stability of the top. An LR Baggs Anthem pickup system is integrated for use in the studio or on stage.
